About this Project
The NIBSS Retrofit Project was initiated to remodel and upgrade the existing Nigerian Inter-Bank Settlement System Head Office at 1230 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island. For the retrofit, HVAC system was upgraded to VRF system for better performance and energy efficiency.
The existing electrical power distribution system was stripped-off and redesigned for flexibility to suite the new partitions and furniture arrangement. Smoke detection system was introduced for life safety of building occupants. Biometric access control and CCTV systems were installed for security.
Existing lighting fixtures were replaced with energy efficient LED types with infra-red sensors to save energy when the offices are unoccupied. All sanitary fixtures were replaced with modern sanitaryware with water-saving features. The project was completed and commissioned in May 2019
